In January 2012, Jeff Owen Artworks of San Jose, CA and the Bronze Silver and Gold Fine Art Gallery at Cambria, CA agreed to sell Mr. Owen’s abstract-expressionist steel sculptures. The sculptures selected were The Factory, Dulcet, Iliad, and Spirale. The Bronze Silver and Gold Fine Art gallery, one of the finest art galleries on the Central Coast since 1986, is a family-owned business located at 4044 Burton Drive in Cambria, CA. Gallery hours are Monday through Saturday from 10 AM to 8 PM and Sunday from 10 AM to 7 PM. Jeff Owen is known for his unique abstract-expressionist steel sculptures using found metal. Jeff Owen’s sculptures have won awards in the San Francisco Bay Area, Carmel, and Palm Springs, CA. He has public art in Downtown Los Altos, CA and in Corona, CA. His art is about life, combining the past with present. He has an affinity with metal, sensing its emotion and history to inspire him to its destiny. His sculptures emerge with patterns, as he takes one piece of steel, adding to it, deleting from it. He is constantly discovering the metal’s unique appeal. When a sculpture encompasses all of his creative energy, he is done.
