by Rochelle ONeal thorpeMay 4, 2012

Wiggles Press Books today announced it will launch a web page dedicated to French readers on (date). This web page, http://www.wix.com/rochellethorpe/languages, which will be mainly written in French

Wiggles Press Books, works at creating a diverse and inclusive culture within its company. A 2010 US census report indicates about 74,936 people in Massachusetts speak French at home and another 48,400 speak French Creole at home. Through launching this web page, the company wants to express its commitment to serving one of the many communities that exist in Massachusetts.

Lately, this three year-old company has put a lot of emphasis at expanding its linguistic offerings. Rochelle O'Neal Thorpe, the company's founder and president, has made available in French the work of three authors so far. Through this new website, children will find three exciting storybooks: Des Cadeaux pour Phoebe (Presents for Phoebe) by Paul Rhode, Le Petit Prunier (The Little Plum Tree) by Sarah Wallas Reidy, and La Paix C'est Autre Chose (Peace is Different) by Cindra Cleaves Simpson.

Wiggles Press Books also goes about implementing diversity by offering various themes through its books. Des Cadeaux pour Phoebe explores the themes of lavishness and generosity, The Litlte Plum Tree looks at the virtue of patience, and La Paix C'est Autre Chose promotes peace in the world.

The company offers books in Spanish, Japanese, and Chinese. It wants to give the chance to children from those various origins to find books in their native language and give English-speaking children the opportunity to explore foreign languages. The company has (number) books available in foreign languages.
