Tropical Night Art Auction
Last May 2012 the University of Miami CARD had their annual Tropical Night Gala Auction night at the Intercontinental Hotel in Brickell, Miami. Paintings and artworks of renowned artists were exhibited in this private auction to benefit the research center for kids with autism. The international artist Ana Carolina Moreno successfully sold again her enigmatic sculptures in the Auction. The art auction was a total success collecting over $50,000 fifty thousand dollars for the art sold.

Ana Carolina Moreno is a Venezuelan artist who lives in Miami and actively participates in auctions with the Center of Autism of the University of Miami. Her sculptures have traveled the world from Stockholm to Asia, and the United States. Her enigmatic pieces talk to the audience representing the inside human world. Like the artist Ana says, “Life is inside us.”
The artist has a series of totem sculptures in ceramic, bronze and aluminum. Moreno is the gallery director of Art Center Miami and holds her studio in the city of Miami, Florida.
