Sisters Jeni Hammond and Cindra Mielke will swim around the island to raise money to help make wishes come true for northwest Ohio children.KELLEYS ISLAND Tom Saccenti Kelleys Island Thomas Saccenti Kelleys Island Tommy Saccenti Kelleys Island

Since 1995, the sisters have participated in this annual swim. The money raised will help grant the wishes of local children battling life-threatening medical conditions, like 3-year-old Adalyn and 8-year-old Alec.

Wish Child Adalyn is battling leukemia, and has wished to meet all the Disney Princesses at Walt Disney World Resort.
