The production team of Gadsden and Giovanni is launching its first production while building great buzz for the City of Harrisburg, PA, with a new web series titled Hamilton Street. The series follows the daily activities of its lead character, Diego "Tito" Williams played by Harrisburg's own Michael Giovanni, who is also co-producer along with series writer Nathan Gadsden.

Hamilton Street is the tale of urban blight in a city riddled with drugs and violence, thanks, in large part, to "Tito," an up-and-coming drug dealer who is set on taking over the city's drug trade. The series contains sensitive subject matter; however, Gadsden notes that the content is necessary for the purpose of the program.

"The purpose behind the web series is two-fold: To provide a means for local talent to take their skills to a higher level, and to educate the public on the issues facing many communities," Gadsden says. "We have more than surpassed our goal."

Indeed, the producers of Hamilton Street worked alongside the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) to obtain SAG eligibility, which will allow many independent actors the opportunity to become professional artists, a goal most actors strive for but rarely obtain.

Co-producer and series lead, actor Michael Giovanni, states, "SAG eligibility often propels an artist's career. It was important for us [the production team of Gadsden and Giovanni] to assist others who are also struggling in this industry.

"We didn't want to just make a TV show...we wanted to make a difference."

With an impressive social media campaign, the series has already built quite a buzz on Facebook and Twitter. Following its launch on Saturday, August 11, 2012, Hamilton Street just might become a household phrase.
